The Knights of Columbus Council #6462 plays an active role in the life of Saint Joseph Parish. Founded on May 8, 1973 by 28 gentlemen, the Council has grown steadily and is now fully integrated into our parish community. Throughout the year, the Knights host a variety of community, spiritual, and social activities.
In service to the wider community, the Knights organize and marshal the Fourth of July and Labor Day parades in Mendham. Each spring, they collect monetary donations to support individuals with developmental disabilities, and twice a year they gather clothing and furniture for Appalachia.
Spiritually, the St. Joseph Knights sponsor the annual “March for Life” bus trip to Washington, D.C., and many members serve the parish as Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, and through various ministries.
The Knights also foster parish fellowship through social events, including the Saint Joseph Parish summer picnic, a Christmas party, and a St. Patrick’s Day celebration.
